What a hectic first half of the year it has been!
I'm not sure what possessed me to work and study full time, but I'm glad I survived and now have a Diploma in Styling (yay!). Going back to school was an interesting experience and helped refresh my design skills. It also made me better at time management since I had an assignment due almost every week. Through all the stress and sleepless nights I'm really glad to have gone through with it as I now have a new set of practices and processes to get to my design solutions. Having said that, I won't be rushing to enrol into other courses any time soon!
One of the components I really enjoyed doing was mood boarding. It's a fun way to get ideas across visually and in a captivating way.
Next time you get stuck for ideas or want a bit of inspiration, I suggest creating a mood board. Just start cutting up pictures from magazines or log onto Pinterest to collect some images. The results could surprise you!
